Full-scale launch of the application is expected in the first half of 2020.

Bakkt’s first partner to be connected to the application will be the international network of Starbucks coffee houses.

Additional features of the application are not yet disclosed, but it is reported that the application will provide access to “an expanded set of digital assets, including cryptocurrencies”.

Meanwhile, against the backdrop of a drop in the Bitcoin price on November 8, Bakkt announced that it has reached the maximum turnover on futures with monthly settlements of $15.6 million.

At the beginning of the week, the cryptographic platform announced plans to expand its offer of settlement futures for Bitcoin by the end of the year.
