The Ethereum Classic development team tweeted that they have already started work on the next update of Agharta and have agreed on the terms of the next hardforck

Hardforck Agharta will include updates from Constantinople, and will present a feature called a generalized account version management scheme. It is planned to implement 3 improvement proposals (EIP): EIP 145, EIP 1014 and EIP 1052.

Changes beyond Constantinople will not be included in the upgrade, but may be taken into account in future upgrades.

ETC developers and ecosystem stakeholders have agreed on the scope and timing of the Agharta Fork and schedule for network updates.

The agreed schedule for Testnet and Mainnet Agharta launches is as follows

Morden Testnet – 13 November 2019

Mordor Testnet – November 20, 2019.

Cotty Testnet – 11 December 2019

Classic Mainnet – January 15, 2020.

These are approximate dates of installation of Agharta, and specific numbers of units of the network, at which the fork will happen, will be announced soon. Atlantis’ September Hard Forward made Ethereum Classic and Ethereum compatible, and Agharta is committed to completing the process.

Shortly after Agharta, in the last quarter of 2020, hardfork is planned to include Istanbul Ethereum upgrades.
