Huobi Exchange will block US accounts in mid-November

November 5, 2019 by
The Huobi Cryptocurrency Exchange intends to block accounts of US residents in order to prevent violations of the User Agreement.

There is a rule in the Exchange Terms of Service that prohibits U.S. customers from using the services of the site. However, some Americans did create accounts and make transactions on the platform.

The exchange reported that the complete freezing of all accounts of residents of the U.S. will take place on November 13. Until then, customers will be able to return Huobi Point Cards and withdraw all remaining crypto assets from their accounts.

The other day, Huobi Group, a cryptocurrency company, announced the launch of Huobi Cloud in the Middle East, a platform designed to create a secure and stable digital asset exchange.

In June, Binance also revised the company’s internal policies and decided to limit access to a global platform for US users. In September, Binance launched a separate cryptocurrency exchange in the United States.
